Saturday Race Day:
7:30-9:15 am    Registration   (Pick up goodie bags / T Shirts)
9:30 am           Pre-race warm up
9:45 am           SBR 10K Muck Run Begins
10:15 am         SBR 5K Muck Run Begins
11:45 am         SBR 1.5K Junior Muck Run Begins

After Junior Muck Run has finished (about 12:30 pm)

  • Awards for 10K, 5K and 1.5K Muck Run
  • Guest speaker in the field
  • Outdoor picnic in the field provided for all racers and volunteers. Guests can purchase lunch ticket for $6.00 at registration.

Rules and Regulations for Muck Run

  1. 5K and 10K racers must be 12 years of age or older at the time of the race.
  2. Junior Muck Run racers must be at least 4 years old at the time of the race.
  3. Every racer must complete a registration form and sign a waiver form.  Racers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver form for the minor.
  4. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Photo ID may be required.
  5. Race guests who are camping at Silver Birch Ranch have first priority for horseback riding, Axolith climbing facility and other activities.  Others can sign up for activities at the registration table.
  6. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL is allowed on Silver Birch Ranch camp grounds at anytime.  Any disorderly racers or guests will be escorted off the grounds.  This is a family-friendly event.
  7. Only registered racers are allowed on race obstacles or in the muck pit.


Lodging at Silver Birch Ranch

You and your family are welcome to stay in one of SBR’s cabins for the weekend or rent a tent site.  Call for pricing on cabins and sites.  Click here to view each cabin before making a reservation.  Your reservation includes the cabin and access to the following: 18 hole miniature golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis, swimming (weather dependent), non-motorized boats on the lake, 18 hole frisbee golf, huge playground,, and the beautiful Canteen (snack shop).  The cabin rental rate is for the whole weekend.  You are welcome to stay for one night, but the cabin price is still the same for the whole weekend.  Sharing the cabin with friends and family to maximize space is encouraged and will save you money.  Silver Birch Ranch is a Christian facility.  Our policy is that all couples staying in the same cabin unit must be married.   For singles, we are setting aside one cabin for men and one for women. Sorry, no alcohol is allowed on Silver Birch Ranch grounds.  Smoking is not allowed in any camp buildings.

Activities

Horseback Riding: We have prescheduled trail rides available Friday and Sunday and after the race on Saturday.  Cost is $10 per person for a 45-minute guided ride (8 year old minimum age).

Climbing/Leap of Faith Facility: Warm or cold, rain or shine, you can climb in or on our 35 foot tall heated climbing facility. There are more than 25 routes challenging enough to please all ability levels. Or, you can test your faith by running off of a ledge 30 feet in the air as you try to reach a bell. For both of these activities, you'll be trained and belayed by our certified staff.

Meals

Your race registration includes the post race picnic on Saturday at 2:00 pm .  SBR will also be offering meals in the Dining Hall to our camping guests throughout the weekend. Meals are served cafeteria-style, all you care to eat.  Each meal has one entrée, two sides, salad, beverage and dessert.  Menu items will be determined five days prior to event.    When you call in to reserve your housing, you can reserve any of the following meals:
